Alicia Bottaro was born in South America, Uruguay who came to live in New York, USA, as a young adult. She started to write poetry and short stories at the age of sixteen.Her parents, avid readers,were a strong influence in her love for books,she enjoys writing and reading short stories, novels, memoirs and poetry. She lives in Manhattan, NYC, with her family.
